That is a stunning car! Base V6, RS trim package with 6-speed transmission? I think that's going to be the right combo for me. I never thought I could settle for a V6 but that one looks terrific!

Yeah, I have one of those IR231s and noticed the same thing! Cheap-o impact wrenches are only worth it if you want a tool that you can toss through a window out of frustration without any guilt.

This promotional video appears to have been shot in an around Milford, Mich igan, home to GM's Milford Proving Grounds. As for the hair, the cars, and th emusic, what can I say? It's pure 1981 retro pop music! Sorry Neoart i f you dont like it, but that's what we had in 1981 and 1982 for music. Rem ember that shows like Charlie's Angels and Dallas were the big hits at the time. I liked it, This one was pure history for us third-gen junkies. 1981 & 1982 were at the tail end of the disco era, and I was taking d river's ed at the time. I remember riding my ten-speed down after driver's ed over to the Pontiac dealership to see the new '82 as they unloaded the first trailer-load. Whooo-ee! It was nearly as exotic as a Ferrari for a kid like me.

I dont get it. That was called " driving past a mud puddle", no t mudding. Plus, with a Camaro on dirt, the most fun part should be tu rning around by stomping on the gas and turning the wheel! We should've se en some good 180's there, not to mention some water spraying action as you hydroplane over the center section of that puddle! You didnt even get any dirt on the windshield....

I loved it the first time I saw it. Too bad GM backed off. They should have said "Hey! It's just a fantasy sequence! Get a real life and go chase down some real TV smut or something!"

I've got the same cam in my minirammed 385, and the idle is significantly different: With the extra CID my idle is quite a bit smoother, especially when the engine is warm and in closed-loop idle. Perhaps I ought to make a video if you are interested.
