My LS1 ran 13.20 @ 105.18 on street tires and just rust holes in the mufflers. Not even a tune. It's a little faster now, and quicker.
My LS1 GTO traps 115
Started in 1964.....;asted through 74, then picked up again in 2004
I only race from a dig. Haven't lost to one yet. Sooner or later one will get me though.
+1 STi showed strong down low but the LS2 showed where it comes on up top.

I hate to disagree with you but you ought to check out the Manchester United Football Fans. No greasier bunch of rednecks ever travelled any road anywhere. They are all out of the Deliverance movie. Makes me proud to be an Alabamian.

You build a strong engine and select a bullet proof heads and cam combination. Actually the engine is good to over 7,000 rpm, the timing chain will take a chit around 7,400 though. Contact Chuck at Horsepower Engineering in Houston, he can do magic.
Think maybe the sound of the cars was a giveaway on mods? Did you listen to the STi? Didn't you think he might be full of it too?
Thanks for the comments guys. Yea I got some more mods...the Borlas have rust holes in them to make it loud. The STi has a heck of a lot more than an exhaust and a tune too. Both are great cars and compete head to head in about every arena except perhaps African Rally Racing where the Sti does reign supreme. Either car is easily modded though a lot more performance stuff is available cheaper for the STi. What's really full of chit is comments that one or the other could beat anything without effective driving and efficient modding or both. You guys and gals be careful out there.
